About Welcome Skateboards:Welcome was born in 2010from a desire to embrace and promote the ever-shrinking subcultural side of skateboarding. We love skateboarding for the creativity and individuality it has always bred and thrived on, but at the time of Welcome’s inception it seemed like the focus was no longer on either of those things. The 8.0" popsicle logo board was king. Counting the number of stairs a trick was done down seemed almost as important as the trick itself. Welcomestarted as a means of creating something different for a small group of friends that couldn't relate to any of that, and is still run exactly the same way today. They believe that skateboarding is an art form, and should be treated as such by the people making the boards you ride. If these beliefs speak to you, you’re Welcome.
